From the publisher:
United Revolución is the product of Leeds United supporter and photographer Justin Slee. The book features documentary photography taken between 2018–2020 of all things Leeds: Elland Road, the fans, the city, 'Marching On Together'. The project began as spirits were high, capturing the energy and passion of the fans during the club's successful rise back to the Premier League under enigmatic Argentine coach, Marcelo Bielsa.
Accompanying the photographs are a series of Leeds United themed essays, memories and quotes shared by fans, past and present representatives of the club, and accomplished writers.
The studio were tasked with collating the content and producing a publication by the fans, for the fans. Narratives have been formed throughout sections of Justin's imagery and the written content, tied together with expressive typography and graphic design.
The timely release of the book aims to lift the spirits of Leeds supporters who are missing the community aspect of football due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, congregating to experience the beautiful game and be entertained at the ground of Leeds United Football Club.
