From the publisher:
Das große Buch der deutschen Fußballstadien:
Werner Skrentny's "Big Book of German Football Stadiums" was celebrated almost hymnically when it first appeared eight years ago. It quickly gained the status of a classic that should not be missing in any fan library. It saw three editions and has been completely out of stock for some time - even at the ZVAB. Now finally the book appears new: completely revised and updated. All important stadiums that have been built since the first edition are of course taken into account, such as the Allianz Arena in Munich or the Zentralstadion in Leipzig. The many colored illustrations are also new. What has remained is the claim to honor the approximately 350 stadiums not only in terms of their architecture and sporting importance. How did Peter Eitner judge the Südwestdeutscher Rundfunk? “I've been looking for a book like this for years. It's a great and fun piece of social studies. Above all, the myth that hangs on old stadiums is wonderfully captured. Highest praise. "
