Renowned Merseyside football reporter Christopher Beesley brings us the inside story of Everton’s historic first season at Hill Dickinson Stadium, their stunning new home on the waterfront.
Following his acclaimed debut, Spirit of the Blues, Beesley uses his professional insight to tell the epic story of the Toffees’ 2025/26 campaign, including:
- Exclusive interviews with manager David Moyes, key Everton players and stadium architect Dan Meis, speaking from his New York office
- Behind-the-scenes details on how pre-season shaped a pivotal year, with players revealing their hopes and ambitions
- The realities of life on the road following a Premier League club across thousands of miles – elite stadiums one week, a leaky-roofed League Two ground the next, and then arriving for an overseas tour without luggage
- Reports from every match, including Everton’s first game in front of fans at Hill Dickinson Stadium, their Premier League opener, a dramatic stoppage-time winner and major away victories at Manchester United, Bournemouth and Aston Villa
- In-depth coverage of the Blues’ decades-long search for a successor to Goodison Park and the development of their new home
Bringing you an insider account of Everton’s landmark 2025/26 campaign, this is a unique portrait of a new era for a club that has played more top-flight seasons than any other in English football. Essential reading for every Evertonian!
