The author:
Jordi Punti was born in Manlleu, near Barcelona, and is a fiction writer and regular contributor to the Spanish and Catalan press. He has won numerous literary awards and his works have been translated into more than 15 languages. His first novel to be translated into English, Lost Luggage (Short Books), was released in 2013, and his new collection of short stories, This is Not America, will be published in the US in 2019.
