The author:
Andreas Baingo, born in 1950, looks back on a career as a sports journalist. He was a trainee at East German television, then at Deutsches Sportecho and after the fall of the Wall at the Berliner Kurier.
Michael Horn, 1954-2013, was a sports journalist and author of numerous sports books.
